Eram dez virgens, cinco loucas e cinco prudentes
Foram encontrar o esposo
As virgens loucas não levaram o azeite de reserva
Para encontrar o noivo
E tardando o noivo adormeceram de um sono profundo
Mas à meia noite, uma voz bradou assim
Se preparem, oh! Dez virgens que o noivo já está vindo aí!
As prudentes levantaram acenderam as lamparinas
As loucas preocupadas o azeite já não tinham
Dai-nos um pouco do vosso azeite
Nossas lâmpadas apagaram
As prudentes responderam
Se a gente der irá faltar
Vão correndo ao mercado vocês poderão comprar
Elas compraram o azeite e apressadas foram bater na porta
Mas a porta se fechou e o noivo lhes falou
Na minha festa vocês não podem entrar!
Assim será a volta do Filho de Deus
Como as dez virgens, assim acontecerá
Cinco subiram e cinco ficaram
Quem não tiver reserva no céu não vai entrar
A diferença das virgens que existiam
Não era a roupa, nem tão pouco a lamparina
Não era azeite porque todas possuíam
Mas era a reserva cinco tinham e cinco não tinham
Reserve um tempo meu irmão pra oração
Reserve um tempo para a consagração
Reserve um tempo pra louvar e adorar
Não deixe a lâmpada do Espírito apagar
Porque o arrebatamento muito em breve acontecerá

There were ten virgins, five were wild and five were wise
They went to meet the groom
The wild virgins didn’t bring extra oil
To find the bridegroom
And while the groom was delayed, they fell into a deep sleep
But at midnight, a voice shouted out
Get ready, oh! Ten virgins, the groom is coming now!
The wise ones got up and lit their lamps
The wild ones worried, they had no oil left
Give us some of your oil
Our lamps have gone out
The wise ones replied
If we give, there won’t be enough
Run to the market, you can buy some there
They bought the oil and hurried to knock on the door
But the door was shut and the groom said to them
You can’t enter my party!
So it will be with the return of the Son of God
Just like the ten virgins, it will happen
Five went up and five stayed behind
Whoever doesn’t have a reserve in heaven won’t get in

But it was the reserve, five had it and five didn’t
