Als orpheus in das dunkel ging,
So folgte er eurydike
Sie zu retten aus dem schlund der unterwelt
Und scheiterte
Und wenn ich nun ins dunkel geh',
Sag folgst du deiner liebe
Dorthin wo die stufe bricht
Am grund der wendel tiefster stiege
Als sich zu früh umgeblickt

Zog der hades sie hinab

Bleiches moos die haut berührt

Jede stufe saugt den tritt
Abwärts und kein weg mir glückt
An das licht wo ich ließ dich einst zurück
Jedes herz ist ein labyrinth
Manches flach - manches tief, mein kind
