"Friends for life," they said
"Always write," they said
Now the days have turned in to years
Who can remember when the other was near?
"How did we let it slip away?
Are we lost or did we find the way?"
And they said,"We're leading separate lives
Tomorrow just isn't what we want it to be"
And they have spent the whole of their lives wondering
"Did I do right by me?"

Go to parties that each other will throw

But then the first moved away
The next one left
