Koning Van Pijn
Er is een klein zwart vlekje op de zon vandaag
Het is hetzelfde oude liedje als gisteren
Er is een zwarte hoed vast in de hoge boomtop
Er is een vlaggenmastdoek en de wind stopt niet
Ik heb hier eerder gestaan in de stortregen
Met de wereld die cirkels draait rond mijn brein
Ik denk dat ik altijd hoop dat jij deze heerschappij beëindigt
Maar het is mijn bestemming om de koning van pijn te zijn
Er is een fossiel dat gevangen zit in een hoge klifwand

Er is een dode zalm bevroren in een waterval

Er is een blauwe walvis aangespoeld door het eb van de lente

Er is een vlinder gevangen in een spinnenweb

Er is een rode vos verscheurd door een jagershond
Er is een zwartvleugelige meeuw met een gebroken rug
Er is een klein zwart vlekje op de zon vandaag
