I won't tell you I've got a halo
Floating above my head
And I won´t sell you a different truth
Just ´cause you think this one is better
Well I´d rather let you know
That it´s time to let this go

I´ve got the answers or a master plan

Last night the world was at peace for a second
All had left me at ease I reckon
Now I´m not feeling bitter
But I dont went to sit here, forever
I went out to walk through distant streets
And a distant mind
To investigate what I could lose
Or what I should find
How unthinkable it seems
To let go of self-made dreams
I read some Auden poem just because I found it here
And he says our dream of safety has to disappear
Wasn't going to ignore
That I felt this way before
Last night the world was so wide for a minute
I was moved by a quiet moment in it
Now the way that we're going
Is of mending and sowing
We're still growing
It's time to move ahead
Tonight the world is a task we've been given
To break up with our past way of livin'
So I pick up the shatters
Blow the dust from my feathers
I feel better

Para investigar qué podría perder
O qué debería encontrar
Qué impensable parece
Dejar ir los sueños hechos por uno mismo
Leí un poema de Auden solo porque lo encontré aquí
Y él dice que nuestro sueño de seguridad tiene que desaparecer
No iba a ignorar
Que me sentía así antes
Anoche el mundo era tan amplio por un minuto
Me conmovió un momento tranquilo en él
Ahora la forma en que vamos
Es de reparar y sembrar
Seguimos creciendo
Es hora de seguir adelante
Esta noche el mundo es una tarea que se nos ha dado
Para romper con nuestra forma pasada de vivir
