Sofria há 38 anos de um mal
Junto a Ele grande multidão
De enfermos, mancos, cegos e ressicados
À espera de um mover das águas
Por um anjo celestial
Depois do movimento de tais águas
Quem fosse o primeiro a entrar no tanque
Prontamente era curado, então
Mas ninguém via a dor daquele homem
De paralisia se frustrar, Jesus vem ao tanque
Jesus sabendo e vendo a situação
Faz a pergunta, queres ficar são?
O homem diz assim
Senhor, não há ninguém por mim
Levanta-te, toma a tua cama e anda
Com tal autoridade Jesus Cristo lhe falou!
Logo aquele homem ficou são
Tomou sua cama e partiu
A glória do Senhor jamais mudou!
