A Vitória da Cruz
Como um leão que ruge o Diabo quer nos devorar
Está buscando brecha para nos destruir, roubar e matar
Não é na nossa força que podemos vencer
Maior é Jesus em nós e vem nos defender
O sangue derramado lá na cruz foi para me salvar
Meu pecado e dor Jesus levou, sofreu em meu lugar
A minha dívida pagou para eu livre ser

Mas não eram os cravos que o prendiam na cruz
Foi o meu pecado que matou Jesus
O dia fez-se em trevas
E o universo inteiro estremeceu
A multidão perdida viu que aquele era o Filho de Deus
O véu do templo se rasgou, hoje eu posso
Entrar nós santo dos santos venho adorar

Bem no meio da festa o Diabo começou ouvir
Passos fortes que tremiam toda terra e foi conferir
Quando as portas se abriram ao cordeiro viu
E como leão Jesus rugiu
Caiu como serpente, todo principado se prostou
O Leão de Judá pisou bem forte e os esmagou
Tomou a chave das mãos do Diabo
Abriu minhas cadeias e me resgatou

E no terceiro dia a pedra do sepulcro rolou
E lá chegou, chegou Maria, mas o corpo
Ela não encontrou
O Anjo lhe falou que Ele não estava lá
Entre os mortos não devia procurar
Viu um jardineiro e perguntou: Onde, onde está o meu Senhor?
Ele olhou nos seus olhos

But it wasn't the nails that held Him on the cross
It was my sin that killed Jesus

The lost crowd saw that He was the Son of God
The temple veil tore, today I can
Enter the Holy of Holies to worship

Right in the middle of the celebration, the Devil began to hear
Strong steps that shook the whole earth and went to check
When the doors opened, the lamb saw
And like a lion, Jesus roared
He fell like a serpent, every principality bowed down
The Lion of Judah stepped firmly and crushed them
He took the key from the Devil's hands
Opened my chains and rescued me

And on the third day, the tombstone rolled away
And there came, came Mary, but the body
She did not find
The Angel told her He was not there
Among the dead she should not seek
She saw a gardener and asked: Where, where is my Lord?
