So I, I hit the floor and on bruised knees start banging down your door.
Can't take this anymore
Holy Spirit manifest your being
Comfort this soul,
So that I can start singing of that peaceful feeling that any minute now you'll be bringing
Grace grows in winter I am told
But that's not what I want to hear right now, truth be known
It's you Father that I desire
So put out this unholy fire
And set ablaze me anew
With a peace that comes only from you
Where else can I turn and what else may I do?

En esta noche inquieta, sin dormir, con la fosa nasal izquierda tapada
Recuerdo el sueño
Y qué consuelo era
Pero ahora todo lo que hace es dejarme insatisfecho
Porque incluso allí estos pensamientos simplemente no dejan de charlar
Así que, golpeo el suelo y de rodillas magulladas comienzo a golpear tu puerta.
No puedo soportar esto más
Espíritu Santo manifiesta tu ser
Consuela esta alma,
Para que pueda empezar a cantar sobre esa sensación de paz que en cualquier momento traerás
La gracia crece en invierno, me han dicho
Pero eso no es lo que quiero escuchar en este momento, la verdad sea dicha
Eres Tú, Padre, a quien deseo
Así que apaga este fuego impío
Y enciéndeme de nuevo
Con una paz que solo proviene de ti
