When Laura was a child she thought she had a dream
All of a sudden she began to scream
The first time she had suffered the vampire's bite
She had met Carmilla in her room that night

That night she came out of the grave

A black cat... enters her room each night
The beast would turn into a lady
After Laura had the vampire's bite
The lady would turn to go, then fade away

The revenant slept in her coffin when it was the day
If Laura was to live there was the one and the only way
They found the blood-liner coffin where Carmilla slept by day
...stake through the heart and with a sword, struck her head away
