I heard a voice in the silence, soft like morning rain
It called me out of my pride, out of my inner chain
Then I stood at a gateway, wide but finely drawn
And I felt the weight of the ages just suddenly be gone

Where the fire refines where the truth aligns
Sacred hearts and minds
There I met the Master, His eyes so deep and wide
He saw each wound in my spirit, not one I tried to hide
He said: You've wandered heavy, through deserts of your will
But the Love that formed the Cosmos is seeking you still
Voices rose like a river, the wind began to sing
Of the mercy in obedience, and the peace it brings
Every wall fell around me, every mask undone
As the justice kissed the mercy, and the many became one

Some seek power, others seek gold
But I chose the silence where the Voice is bold
