Vamos à casa do Senhor!
Que alegria, quando ouvi que me disseram
Vamos à casa do Senhor!
E agora nossos pés já se detêm
Jerusalém, em tuas portas
Para lá sobem as tribos de Israel
As tribos do Senhor
Para louvar, segundo a lei de Israel
Para louvar, louvar o nome do Senhor
A sede da justiça lá está
E o trono de Davi
Rogai que viva em paz Jerusalém
E em segurança os que te amam!
Que a paz habite dentro de teus muros
Tranquilidade em teus palácios!
Por amor a meus irmãos e meus amigos
Peço: A paz esteja em ti!
Pelo amor que tenho à casa do Senhor
Eu te desejo todo bem!

Let’s go to the house of the Lord!
What joy when I heard them say

And now our feet are standing
Jerusalem, at your gates
To there ascend the tribes of Israel
The tribes of the Lord
To praise, according to the law of Israel
To praise, praise the name of the Lord
The seat of justice is there
And the throne of David
Pray that Jerusalem lives in peace
And safety for those who love you!
May peace dwell within your walls
Tranquility in your palaces!
For the love of my brothers and my friends
I ask: May peace be within you!
For the love I have for the house of the Lord
I wish you all the best!
