as luas errantes revelam os segredos que guardam
a profanada aldeia palikur , paikwenê , parikoré
os galhos envergam no sopro dos ventos uivantes
que vibram as teias das caçadoras ,
predadoras , devoradoras
a maldição de poráh caiu sobre a tribo da marca
dos olhos da noite
seres rastejam ocultos nas gretas do solo
para despertar
tarântulas , carangueijeiras , armadeiras , viúvas-negras
tribos de aranha ( hei ha )
das teias , nos fios de seda descem fiandeiras
camufladas , sorrateiras
a metamorfose da maloca enigmática vai começar
as palhas caranás arrepiam e formam ferrões de peçonha
das culmieiras esteios se erguem e tornam-se pernas e garras
redes casulos que guardam suas crias
levantam a grande maloca e vaga na floresta dos paricore

the wandering moons reveal the secrets they keep
the desecrated palikur village, paikwenê, parikoré
the branches bend in the howling winds' breath
that vibrate the huntresses',
predators', devourers' webs
the curse of poráh has fallen upon the tribe of the mark
of the night eyes
beings crawl hidden in the cracks of the ground
to awaken
tarantulas, crab spiders, trapdoor spiders, black widows
spider tribes (hei ha)
from the webs, on silk threads descend weavers
camouflaged, stealthy
the metamorphosis of the enigmatic maloca is about to begin
the caraná straw bristles and forms venomous stingers
from the culmieiras, posts rise and become legs and claws
nets cocoons that guard their offspring
raise the great maloca and wander in the paricore forest
