Catequese, Caminho Para o Discipulado
Os seus corações se abrasavam,
voltaram a voz do Mestre a escutar:
Jeus se pôs com eles conversando,
de novo a esperança fez brilhar!
Hoje nós estamos nessa estrada,
caminho para o discipulado!
Vamos espalhar boa notícia,
o Mestre está conosco ao nosso lado!
[Refrão] Quando Ele fala, e esclarece,
quando o Mestre vai partir o Pão:
Se faz o Reino, e é catequese,
é motivo pra Celebração!
Assim então seus olhos se abriram,
voltaram o rosto Dele a contemplar:
O Mestre se revela na partilha,
e a fé em seus amigos faz voltar!
Hoje nós estamos nessa mesa,
partilha, vida, força e salvação,
Retirar de nós toda a cegueira,
e levar a luz para os irmãos!

À Missão então eles partiram,
o que viram foram anunciar:
"Ele está Vivo em nosso meio:
Vinde, venham todos se alegrar!"
Hoje somos nós os Seus Discípulos,
e essa missão nós acolhemos:
Emaús, Lição de Catequese!
é com Cristo que a aprendemos!

Catechesis, Path to Discipleship
Their hearts were burning,
they returned to listen to the Master's voice:
Jesus stood with them talking,
shining hope once again!
Today we are on this road,
path to discipleship!
Let's spread good news,
the Master is with us by our side!

when the Master breaks the Bread:
The Kingdom is made, and it is catechesis,
reason for Celebration!
So their eyes were opened,
they turned to contemplate His face:
The Master reveals Himself in sharing,
and faith in His friends is restored!
Today we are at this table,
sharing, life, strength, and salvation,
Removing all blindness from us,
and bringing light to our brothers!

The Kingdom is made, and it is catechesis,
reason for Celebration!
To the Mission they then departed,
what they saw they went to announce:
"He is Alive among us:
Come, let everyone rejoice!"
Today we are His Disciples,
and we welcome this mission:
Emmaus, Catechesis Lesson!
It is with Christ that we learn it!
