Irmão acorda alerta, levanta
Desperta que Jesus já vem
Escuta-se a voz dos anjos
Os santos arcanjos dizendo: Amém
Em luzes de todas as cores
Belos esplendores que os olhos vêem
Em meio à voz dos cantores
O rufar dos tambores de Jerusalém
Irão os túmulos se abrindo
E assim ressurgindo os mortos que têm
E a trombeta tocando e os crentes cantando
Dizendo: Ora, vem!
Jesus nas nuvens surgindo
E a igreja subindo pra Jerusalém
E todos num gozo profundo
Dando adeus ao mundo e aos que ficam também
Iremos com os anjos gozar
Na pátria celeste, no reino do além
Lá com Jesus, o Cordeiro
Gozar os prazeres em Jerusalém
Depois que a igreja subir
Irão proferir com grande aflição
O que foi que aconteceu?
Desapareceu meu pai, meu irmão!
Faltou no loja o caixeiro
No campo o vaqueiro desapareceu
O ônibus parou lá na pista
Onde está o motorista, o que aconteceu?
No mundo cheio de horrores
Tristezas e dores e pranto também
Os homens hão de padecer
Não irão viver com Jesus no além
Só se ouvem as notícias correndo
E povo vivendo sem consolação
Não se vê mais o pai na usina
E na oficina faltou um irmão
Iremos com os anjos gozar
Na pátria celeste, no reino do além
Lá com Jesus, o Cordeiro
Gozar os prazeres em Jerusalém
Nessa tamanha tormenta
Ninguém se contenta com a separação
Porque faltou tanta gente
Só foram os crentes, oh presta atenção!
Este povo dizia
Que chegaria o dia da redenção
Jesus levou seus remidos
Os seus escolhidos pra Santa Sião
Iremos com os anjos gozar
Na Pátria Celeste, no reino do além

Brother wake up alert, get up
Awake because Jesus is coming
The voice of the angels is heard
The holy archangels saying: Amen
In lights of all colors
Beautiful splendors that the eyes see
Amidst the voice of the singers
The beating of the drums of Jerusalem
The tombs will be opening
And thus the dead who have will rise
And the trumpet playing and the believers singing
Saying: Pray, come!
Jesus appearing in the clouds
And the church rising to Jerusalem
And everyone in deep joy
Saying goodbye to the world and to those who stay behind
We will rejoice with the angels
In the heavenly homeland, in the kingdom beyond
There with Jesus, the Lamb
Enjoying the pleasures in Jerusalem
After the church ascends
They will say with great affliction
What happened?
My father, my brother disappeared!
The clerk was missing in the store
The cowboy disappeared in the field
The bus stopped on the road
Where is the driver, what happened?
In a world full of horrors
Sadness and pain and weeping too
Men will suffer
They will not live with Jesus beyond
Only news running around
And people living without consolation
No longer seeing the father at the factory
And a brother missing in the workshop
We will rejoice with the angels

Enjoying the pleasures in Jerusalem
In this great storm
No one is content with the separation
Because so many people are missing
Only the believers went, oh pay attention!
This people said
That the day of redemption would come
Jesus took his redeemed ones
His chosen ones to Holy Zion
We will rejoice with the angels
