Snow is glistening
A beautiful sight

He'll say 'Are ya married?'
We'll say 'No, man,
But you can do the job when you're in town.'
Later on, we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
Your face won't have reigns
The place that we made

We'll have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman
Until the other children knock him down

2 Frosty the Snowman
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corn cob pipe and a button nose
And eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say
He was made of snow, but the children know
That he came to life one day
There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around
Frosty the snowman was as live as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
Frosty the snowman knew to ??? hop and play
So he said 'Let's run and have some fun, now
Before I melt away.'
Down to the village with a broom stick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying, 'Catch me if you can!'
He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic stop
He only paused a moment when he heard them holler 'stop!'
Frosty the snowman had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying, 'Don't you cry
I'll be back again, someday.'
Frosty the snowman was as live as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
Frosty the snowman knew to ??? hop and play
So he said 'Let's run and have some fun, now

We zijn blij vanavond

De blauwe vogel is weg
Een nieuwe vogel is hier
Hij zingt een lied
Terwijl we verder gaan

In de wei kunnen we een sneeuwman maken
En doen alsof hij dominee Brown is
Hij zal zeggen: 'Ben je getrouwd?'
Wij zeggen: 'Nee, man,
Maar je kunt het doen als je in de stad bent.'
Later zullen we samenzweren
Terwijl we dromen bij het vuur
Je gezicht zal geen teugels hebben
De plek die we maakten
Wandelen in een winterwonderland
In de wei kunnen we een sneeuwman maken
En doen alsof hij een circusclown is
We zullen veel plezier hebben met meneer Sneeuwman
Tot de andere kinderen hem omver duwen
Als het sneeuwt, is het niet opwindend?
Terwijl je neus een kou krijgt
We zullen vrolijk zijn en spelen

2 Frosty de Sneeuwman
Frosty de sneeuwman was een vrolijke ziel
Met een maïskolfpijp en een knopenneus
En ogen van kolen
Frosty de sneeuwman is een sprookje, zeggen ze
Hij was gemaakt van sneeuw, maar de kinderen weten
Dat hij op een dag tot leven kwam
Er moet wat magie in die oude zijden hoed zijn geweest
Want toen ze het op zijn hoofd zetten, begon hij te dansen
Frosty de sneeuwman was zo levendig als maar kon
En de kinderen zeggen dat hij kon lachen en spelen
Net als jij en ik
Frosty de sneeuwman wist hoe hij kon springen en spelen
Dus zei hij: 'Laten we rennen en plezier maken, nu
Voordat ik smelt.'
Naar het dorp met een bezemsteel in zijn hand
Rennend hier en daar rond het plein
Zeggend: 'Pak me als je kan!'
Hij leidde hen door de straten van de stad, recht naar het verkeerslicht
Hij pauzeerde maar even toen hij hoorde dat ze schreeuwden 'stop!'
Frosty de sneeuwman moest opschieten
Maar hij zwaaide gedag en zei: 'Huil niet
Ik kom ooit weer terug.'
Frosty de sneeuwman was zo levendig als maar kon
En de kinderen zeggen dat hij kon lachen en spelen
Net als jij en ik
Frosty de sneeuwman wist hoe hij kon springen en spelen
Dus zei hij: 'Laten we rennen en plezier maken, nu
