Bless this house, O Lord we pray,
Make it safe by night and day . . .
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out . . .
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie overall . . .
Bless this door that it may prove,
Ever open,
To joy and love . . .
Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's Heavenly light,
Bless the hearth, the painting there,
With smoke ascending like a prayer!
Bless the folk who dwell within,
Keep them pure and free from sin . . .
Bless us all that we may be,
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee . . .
Bless us all that one day we may dwell,
O Lord! With Thee!

Bendice esta casa, oh Señor te rogamos,
Hazla segura de noche y de día...
Bendice estas paredes tan firmes y robustas,
Manteniendo la necesidad y los problemas afuera...
Bendice el techo y las chimeneas altas,
Que tu paz se extienda por todo...
Bendice esta puerta para que pueda demostrar,
Siempre abierta,
A la alegría y al amor...
Bendice estas ventanas brillantes,
Dejando entrar la luz celestial de Dios,
Bendice la chimenea, la pintura allí,
Con el humo ascendiendo como una oración!
Bendice a la gente que habita dentro,
Manténlos puros y libres del pecado...
Bendícenos a todos para que podamos ser,
Dignos, oh Señor, de habitar contigo...
Bendícenos a todos para que un día podamos habitar,
