Woo, he's watchin' the choo choo,

Wish I had the ticket that I can't afford
Hear that old conductor holler "All Aboard!"
Wonder how this world looks, outside of picture books
Rocky mountains, rollin' plains an' desert skies
Passin' before my eyes
When the whistle blows toot toot toot,
the engine goes chug chug
And I hear that bell go clang clang clang,
and my heart gives a tug tug tug
Watchin' the trains go by, I'm just a small town guy
Wishin' I could hurry up an' start to pack
Grab my gal and hop the train an' not come back
Instead of that I'm sitting by the railroad track,
Watchin' the trains go by, watchin' the trains go by!
There's a choo choo comin' down the track,
I can almost see it's smoky stack
But it ain't no use, alas I lack

Deseando poder apurarme y empezar a empacar
Agarrar a mi chica y saltar al tren y no volver
En lugar de eso, estoy sentado junto a las vías del tren,
