Do Sepulcro Ressurgiu Triunfante
Do sepulcro eis que triunfante
Ressurgiu o Filho do eterno Deus
Para dar-nos Sua fé constante
E ao fim levar-nos para os céus
Foi Jesus, o Mestre, sepultado
Mas a morte não O pôde mais reter
Quem não tinha em Si nenhum pecado
Veio pelo pecador morrer
Quando as discípulas chegaram
Com aromas, para ungirem o Senhor
No sepulcro não mais O acharam
Pois da morte fora vencedor
Viram anjos que lhes informaram
Que entre os mortos Cristo não estava mais
Cheias de alegria retornaram
Contemplando maravilhas tais
Aos apóstolos apresentou-Se
E lhes disse: Seja em vós a Minha paz
A tristeza em glória transformou-se
Pela Sua aparição veraz
Em Jerusalém permaneceram
Revestidos foram do poder de Deus
As virtudes eles receberam
Veio o Dom bendito desde os céus

From the tomb behold triumphant
The Son of the eternal God has risen again
To give us His constant faith
And in the end take us to the heavens
Jesus, the Master, was buried
But death could no longer hold Him
Who had no sin in Himself
He came to die for the sinner
When the disciples arrived
With spices, to anoint the Lord
They no longer found Him in the tomb
For he was victorious over death
They saw angels who informed them
That Christ was no longer among the dead
Full of joy they returned
Contemplating such wonders
He presented Himself to the apostles
And he said to them, “My peace be within you
Sorrow turned into glory
By His true appearance
In Jerusalem they remained
They were clothed with the power of God
The virtues they received
The blessed Gift came from the heavens
