Hole In The Sea
Last night, i watched the moon drink the tides
'til a whale rose from the hole in the sea.
She breathed in the clouds like an opium ride,
Smiled, and devoured me.
My flesh had melted when my mind awoke
To feel her tail tear open the sky.
Fins punctured cities, bled sulfur and smoke;
I wept as the last scream died.
She spat my soul onto a planet of dust.
My thoughts dissolved into the grain.
Whale became woman, the sun gazed with lust;
He took her, and fathered the rain.
From this coupling my shell grew green.
Rainforests sprung from my skin and soil.
Mountains spawned cells, apes & all-in-between,
And i understood.
I am this mortal coil.

Agujero en el mar
Anoche, vi a la luna beber las mareas
hasta que una ballena surgió del agujero en el mar.
Ella inhaló las nubes como un viaje de opio,
sonrió y me devoró.
Mi carne se derritió cuando mi mente despertó
para sentir su cola rasgar el cielo.
Aletas perforaron ciudades, sangraron azufre y humo;
lloré mientras el último grito moría.
Ella escupió mi alma en un planeta de polvo.
Mis pensamientos se disolvieron en el grano.
La ballena se convirtió en mujer, el sol la miraba con lujuria;
él la tomó y engendró la lluvia.
De esta unión mi caparazón se volvió verde.
Selvas tropicales brotaron de mi piel y suelo.
Montañas engendraron células, simios y todo lo intermedio,
y entendí.
Soy esta espiral mortal.
