Well the years start comin' and they don't stop comin', back to the rules and I hit the ground runnin'.
Didn't make sense not to live for fun, your brain gets smart, but your head gets dumb.
So much to do, so much to see, so what's wrong with takin' the backstreets.
You'll never know if you don't go, you'll never shine if you don't glow...

Its a cool place and they say it gets colder, your bundled up now, wait till ya get older.
But the media man begs to differ judging by the hole in the satelitte picture.
The ice we skate is gettin pretty thin, the waters gettin warm so you might as well swim.

Jemand hat mir einmal gesagt, die Welt wird mich umhauen.
Ich bin nicht das schärfste Werkzeug in der Werkzeugkiste.
Nun, sie sah ein bisschen dumm aus, mit ihrem Finger im Daumen und einem L auf ihrer Stirn......
Nun, die Jahre kommen und sie hören nicht auf zu kommen, zurück zu den Regeln und ich starte durch.
Es macht keinen Sinn, nicht für den Spaß zu leben, dein Verstand wird klug, aber dein Kopf wird dumm.
So viel zu tun, so viel zu sehen, was spricht dagegen, die Nebenstraßen zu nehmen.
Du wirst nie wissen, wenn du nicht gehst, du wirst nie strahlen, wenn du nicht leuchtest...

Es ist ein cooler Ort und sie sagen, es wird kälter, du bist jetzt warm eingepackt, warte, bis du älter wirst.
Aber der Medienmann sieht das anders, wenn man das Loch im Satellitenbild betrachtet.
Das Eis, auf dem wir skaten, wird ziemlich dünn, das Wasser wird warm, also kannst du genauso gut schwimmen.
Meine Welt brennt, wie sieht's mit deiner aus? So mag ich es und mir wird nie langweilig......

Jemand hat einmal gefragt, ob ich etwas Kleingeld für Benzin übrig hätte, ich muss mich von diesem Ort wegbewegen.
Ich sagte ja, was für ein Konzept, ich könnte selbst ein wenig Treibstoff gebrauchen und wir könnten alle ein wenig Veränderung gebrauchen......
