My Renewing
His eye has caught me now I can't escape his gaze
The Artist holds me up under the light, appraising me
In shame, I cast my eyes down to the ground
He'll take hold of me, and flesh it out, with purpose, with a vengeance, blade in hand
Carve me up, strip away, tear mine down, my shape is yet to come
When will I rouse, from the perfect rest he gives?
How will the world see me then, as his own, his masterpiece

My twisted shape and burdened thoughts will be severed
Sorrow will fade with my nature restored, my nature renewed

The shape He wants, that I can't see; Is the essence he grants
I've carried the waste, shapeless and vague, for so long it clings to me
Pieces will fall, be swept away; The Artist will restore me

El Artista me sostiene bajo la luz, evaluándome
En vergüenza, bajo mis ojos hacia el suelo
Él me tomará, y lo esculpirá, con propósito, con una venganza, cuchillo en mano
Tallarme, despojar, derribar lo mío, mi forma está por venir
¿Cuándo despertaré, del perfecto descanso que él da?
¿Cómo me verá el mundo entonces, como suyo, su obra maestra?
Su mirada me ha atrapado, ahora no puedo escapar de su mirada
El Artista me sostiene bajo la luz, evaluándome

Mi forma retorcida y pensamientos cargados serán cortados
La tristeza se desvanecerá con mi naturaleza restaurada, mi naturaleza renovada
¿Cuándo despertaré, del perfecto descanso que él da?
¿Cómo me verá el mundo entonces, como suyo, su obra maestra?
La forma que Él desea, que no puedo ver; Es la esencia que él otorga
He llevado el desperdicio, amorfo y vago, durante tanto tiempo se aferra a mí
Las piezas caerán, serán barridas; El Artista me restaurará
