Mandou que se ajuntasse os homens de Baal
Pra fazer dois altares, ver quem manda fogo
Pois ele sabia que Deus é real

Fizeram um altar e começaram então
Os quatrocentos servos de Baal clamar

E a coisa ia ficando cada vez pior
Falava assim Elias: Gritem bem mais alto
Quem sabe se talvez Baal já viajou
Elias com risadas só zombava deles
Cadê o Deus Baal que fogo não mandou?
Mas daqui a pouco é a minha vez
Vou mostrar pra vocês que Deus é o meu senhor
Já era meio dia e os homens de Baal
Clamava por seu Deus, Baal não respondia
Já jorrava sangue pela suas veias
A coisa tava feia e Elias sorria
Então mandou Elias e o povo chegar
E molhar o altar pela terceira vez
Deus vai mandar fogo e acabar com tudo
Ele é poderoso eu provo pra vocês
E começou Elias a clamar assim
Ó Deus de Abraão, Isaac e Israel
Manda fogo agora e mostra a esse povo
Que verdadeiramente eu sirvo ao Deus do céu
E o fogo queimou tanto até causou espanto
E a água que estava ao redor lambeu

But soon it’ll be my turn
I’ll show you all that God is my Lord
It was already noon and the men of Baal
Cried out to their God, but Baal didn’t answer
Blood was pouring from their veins
Things were looking bad and Elijah was smiling
Then Elijah told the people to come
And soak the altar for the third time
God will send fire and end it all
He’s powerful, I’ll prove it to you
And Elijah began to cry out like this
O God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel
Send fire now and show this people
That I truly serve the God of heaven
And the fire burned so much it caused shock
And the water around it licked up
