Hoje de manhã eu acordei com uma canção em mim
Vi que era uma música do céu, pois era diferente
Uma melodia que eu queria que jamais tivesse fim
Me trazia paz na alma, no corpo e na mente
A verdade é que essa música falava aqui por dentro
Me fazendo perguntas: Como eu estou aqui?
Então eu respondi
Todo dia eu tenho que matar um leão para sobreviver
Tenho que perder o medo de enfrentar
Qualquer tempestade que aparecer
Não olhar para as decepções
De cabeça erguida confiar em Deus
E entender que Deus é maior que os problemas meus
A gente convive entre lobos, feras e leões
E somente o Senhor quem pode nos livrar
E no mar da vida, mergulhamos entre tubarões
E quem mergulha nessas águas não pode sangrar
É por isso que eu preciso ser curado todo dia
E com valentia, a batalha prosseguir
De mim não desistir

A melody I wished would never end
It brought me peace in my soul, my body, and my mind
The truth is this song spoke deep within me
Asking me questions: How did I get here?
So I answered
Every day I gotta slay a lion to survive
I gotta lose the fear of facing
Any storm that comes my way
Not looking back at disappointments
With my head held high, trusting in God
And understanding that God is bigger than my problems
We live among wolves, beasts, and lions
And only the Lord can set us free
