Let It Be Done Unto Me
The Lord sent me to Mary
As she was praying in the sun.
I said, "Hail Mary, favored one,
The Lord is with you. Mary it is true."
She did not understand.
She said, "Shall I touch the sky
With these small hands?"
A peasant girl from Galilee
Destined to become the Queen of Peace.
And all the heavens and the earth
Stand still in silence,
Waiting for her soul to reply.
She is free to choose:
God will never abuse
The sacred Yes she cannot be denied.
"Let it be done unto me!
With one small yes the world will be redeemed.
What was impossible is now a possibility.
Let it be done unto me!"
"Mary, do not be afraid.
Behold, you will conceive a son
Through whom the world is saved.
Humility will be your throne,
And in your womb our God,
Our God will find a home."
"O Lord, how can this be?
I have not given any man my body's purity!"
"The Spirit will come down,
Like once-barren Elizabeth
Can now with child be found!"
She said Yes to the Father,
Yes to the unknown,
Yes with all her strength,
Yes to God alone.
The first Holy Communion
Took place that blessed day.
Christ came into her body
When Mary chose to say:
"Let it be done unto me!
With one small yes the world will be redeemed.
What was impossible is now a possibility.
Let it be done unto me!"

Le Seigneur m'a envoyé vers Marie
Alors qu'elle priait au soleil.
J'ai dit : "Je te salue, Marie, pleine de grâce,
Le Seigneur est avec toi. C'est vrai, Marie."
Elle ne comprenait pas.
Elle a dit : "Vais-je toucher le ciel
Avec ces petites mains ?"
Une paysanne de Galilée
Destinée à devenir la Reine de la Paix.
Et tous les cieux et la terre
Sont figés dans le silence,
Attendant que son âme réponde.
Elle est libre de choisir :
Dieu ne forcera jamais
Le sacré Oui qu'elle ne peut refuser.
"Qu'il en soit fait selon moi !
Avec un petit oui, le monde sera sauvé.
Ce qui était impossible est maintenant une possibilité.
Qu'il en soit fait selon moi !"
"Marie, n'aie pas peur.
Regarde, tu concevras un fils
Par qui le monde sera sauvé.
L'humilité sera ton trône,
Et dans ton ventre notre Dieu,
Notre Dieu trouvera un foyer."
"Ô Seigneur, comment cela peut-il être ?
Je n'ai donné à aucun homme ma pureté !"
"L'Esprit descendra,
Comme Elizabeth autrefois stérile
Peut maintenant être enceinte !"
Elle a dit Oui au Père,
Oui à l'inconnu,
Oui de toutes ses forces,
Oui à Dieu seul.
La première Sainte Communion
A eu lieu ce jour béni.
Christ est entré dans son corps
Quand Marie a choisi de dire :
"Qu'il en soit fait selon moi !
