Exordium
God, spake in time past, by prophets
Hath in these last days, by his son
Being the brightness of his glory
Being made so much better than the angels
Christ is the living word of truth and justice
Preserved in scripture, gospel and his church
A word preached by fruitful works and deeds
And lastly by the voice
Tribulation awaits
Yet we must prevail through suffering
And light upon the Earth
As not of this wicked world
We preach the gospel through example
Drawing the hate of the damned
In the word we must seek refuge
From this momentary affliction

Dios, habló en el pasado, por medio de profetas
Ha hablado en estos últimos días, por su hijo
Siendo el resplandor de su gloria
Siendo hecho mucho mejor que los ángeles
Cristo es la palabra viva de verdad y justicia
Preservada en las escrituras, el evangelio y su iglesia
Una palabra predicada por obras y acciones fructíferas
Y por último, por la voz
La tribulación nos espera
Sin embargo, debemos prevalecer a través del sufrimiento
Y ser luz sobre la Tierra
Como no de este mundo malvado
Predicamos el evangelio a través del ejemplo
Atrayendo el odio de los condenados
En la palabra debemos buscar refugio
De esta aflicción momentánea
