It begins as it ends
Born into the world out of nothing
And then you’re dead
Back into nothing again
This is a message from me
Something that I need to say to my past self
A temporal soliloquy
To a boy who likes to hide away in his own world
Hold on to your seat
From here things are only speeding up
Hold on to your dreams
Time takes everything
Take me back to nowhere
Put me back onto my throne
Take me from the here and now
Or give me something real to care about
I waste all of my energy worrying about what I don’t know
And always giving myself headaches over the things I can't control
I'm burning up my youthful days
And the curtains closing
But I can never seem to get away
I got a message, received
Something that passed down to me from my future self
Can you see what’s really happening?
The roof above collapsing in
Blood for blood
We’ve all got our demons to overcome
Everyone’s suffering
And no autopsy of my future self
Will get me any closer to the clarity I long for
I waste all of my energy worrying about what I don’t know

On anything that I can find that helps me to escape
While all the world around me decays
I keep on searching, as minutes turn to hours

Comienza como termina
Nacido en el mundo de la nada
Y luego estás muerto
De vuelta a la nada otra vez
Este es un mensaje de mí
Algo que necesito decirle a mi yo del pasado
Un soliloquio temporal
A un chico que le gusta esconderse en su propio mundo

Desde aquí las cosas solo se aceleran
Aférrate a tus sueños
El tiempo lo toma todo
Llévame de vuelta a la nada

O dame algo real por lo que preocuparme
Desperdicio toda mi energía preocupándome por lo que no sé
Y siempre dándome dolores de cabeza por las cosas que no puedo controlar
Estoy consumiendo mis días de juventud

Pero nunca parezco poder escapar
Recibí un mensaje
Algo que me transmitió mi yo del futuro
¿Puedes ver lo que realmente está sucediendo?
El techo sobre nosotros colapsando
Sangre por sangre
Todos tenemos nuestros demonios que superar
Todos están sufriendo
Y ninguna autopsia de mi yo del futuro
Me acercará a la claridad que anhelo
