Lá na Galiléia bem longe daqui
Um dia ecoou a voz do Galileu
Foi Ele mandado para aquele povo
E o povo rebelde não O recebeu
Este Galileu tão Humilde e Manso
O Profeta Isaías bem antes falou
Que Ele viria trazer boas novas
Mas a sua Pátria não O aceitou
Santo Galileu
Divino Jesus
Tua voz ouvi
E te recebi
Hoje tenho luz
Este Galileu veio evangelizar
E anunciar o tempo da salvação
Ele veio dar visão para os cegos
E para os cativos a libertação
Que era O Messias não acreditaram
Porque era pobre e trabalhador
Não teve um lar para seu repouso
Mas da humanidade foi O Redentor

There in Galilee far away from here
One day echoed the voice of the Galilean
He was sent to that people
And the rebellious people did not receive Him
This Galilean so Humble and Meek
The Prophet Isaiah spoke of Him long before
That He would come to bring good news
But His homeland did not accept Him
Holy Galilean
Divine Jesus
I heard your voice
And received you
Today I have light
This Galilean came to evangelize
And announce the time of salvation
He came to give sight to the blind
And liberation to the captives
They did not believe He was the Messiah
Because He was poor and a worker
He had no home for His rest
But He was the Redeemer of humanity
