Ik zei man, het is prima voor mij, maar je gaat er veel te diep in
Ik snapte het de eerste keer, dus draai het wat zachter, geef het een pauze
Het is niet zo ingewikkeld en ik weet wat er nu komt
Het is zo overduidelijk
Je zou niet verrast moeten zijn
Maar ik vind het vreemd
Dat ze het niet in jouw maat hebben
Ik ben vergeten
Waar we begonnen
Omdat ergens onderweg
Het belangrijkste punt verdween
En zichzelf parkeerde
In een achterafstraat
In een eenzaam deel van de stad

Het was verloren in de mist van de tijd
Je begon zo goed
En ging toen op een reis rond de wereld
Overal onder de zon
Als je ooit terugkomt
Zullen we zien of je geleerd hebt
Dat het allemaal optelt tot één
Ik weet dat je denkt dat ik dom ben, maar je moet me tijd geven
Ik zit met mijn hand omhoog, maar je stuurt me naar de achterkant van de rij
Ik hoor je, maar het is allemaal te veel voor iemand als ik
Je zegt dit en dat en wie weet wat, het is zo moeilijk te geloven
Het is overduidelijk
Als wat je probeert te zeggen
Hetzelfde is als de rest van ons
