Journey's End
Silence, at long last it's never over
Against all odds we still remain
We've passed through the needle's eye
As the Nightstar slowly collapses
As it's drained of all its power
Cruising through what was left
Of a thousand battleships
Our kin's final resting place
The remnants of our race set off
To a final destination
Hopefully peace we'll find, someday
No one longer yearn for our demise
Once again we're searching for a home
Travelling far through worlds without stars
We have passed a thousand or more
In search of a place where we can live in peace
But so far, only emptiness we have found
And so we journeyed through the enveloping cosmic dark
In all this vastness
And obscure stellar systems
For many aeons we found little hope
At these far outreaches of the universe
We found few worlds that could harbour life
No place to which our species could migrate
But suddenly, through the darkness, a pale blue dot emerged
And we knew, this was where we would make our stand
Hope is all but lost for our race
We've survived all hardships that we've faced
Travelled so far, to find a new star
That can grant, a new life for us all
In search of a place, far into space
Now it seems that we have arrived
We've reached a remote, small galaxy
And we see a world of blue and green
The third one from the star
This view seems familiar somehow
It feels like our home
Tell us we free

Silencio, al fin nunca se acaba
Contra todo pronóstico seguimos aquí
Hemos pasado por el ojo de la aguja
Mientras Nightstar colapsa lentamente
Mientras se agota todo su poder

De mil naves de guerra

En toda esta inmensidad
Y en sistemas estelares oscuros

Pero de repente, a través de la oscuridad, surgió un punto azul pálido

La esperanza está casi perdida para nuestra raza
Hemos sobrevivido a todas las dificultades que hemos enfrentado
Viajado tan lejos, para encontrar una nueva estrella
Que pueda otorgar, una nueva vida para todos nosotros
En busca de un lugar, lejos en el espacio
Ahora parece que hemos llegado
Hemos alcanzado una galaxia remota y pequeña
Y vemos un mundo azul y verde
El tercero desde la estrella
