De repente ergueu os olhos e contemplou
Uma imensidão, quase total escuridão, por olhar em volta e nada ver
Chegou quase estremecer, no mais íntimo do teu ser
Algo lhe dizia que era o fim, começou a caminhar em meio a imensidão
Sentindo fome, sede e frio vazio e desolação
Cansado e com os pés feridos chegou quase cair ao chão
Foi quando de repente ouviu uma voz que lhe dizia então
Filho eu estou aqui não há mais pra onde fugir
Te trouxe para o deserto lugar de encontro comigo
É no deserto que Deus fala contigo
É no deserto que ele prova quem ama
É no deserto que te da o renovo segura em tuas mãos
Pois zela pelo seu povo
É no deserto que houve o teu clamor
É no deserto que ele vê tua dor
É no deserto no meio dos espinhos
Que recolhe tuas lágrimas não estas sozinho
É no deserto que envia o maná, faz água da rocha então brotar
É no deserto que te guia de dia como nuvem
E a noite coluna de fogo
E no meio desse deserto, com serpentes e escorpiões
Tempestades de areia tentando te destruir, Deus vai fazer você sair
Revestido, renovado, restaurado, aprovado
Cheio da unção e cheio do poder
Pois passastes pelo fogo, e foste aprovado
Tu pisastes nos espinhos e não desistiu
Quando o clamor da tua voz Deus pode ouvir, respondeu
Filho meu eu estou aqui
Cheio do poder, cheio da unção
O Senhor permitiu você entrar neste deserto
Mas não é neste deserto que você vai permanecer
Porque o Senhor vai te tirar dele, e você vai sair

Desert

An immense, almost total darkness, looking around and seeing nothing

Feeling hunger, thirst, and cold emptiness and desolation

It is in the desert that God speaks to you
It is in the desert that he tests those who love
It is in the desert that he gives you renewal, holding your hands
For he watches over his people
It is in the desert where your cry is heard
It is in the desert where he sees your pain
It is in the desert amidst the thorns
That he collects your tears, you are not alone
It is in the desert that he sends manna, makes water spring from the rock
It is in the desert that he guides you by day as a cloud
And at night as a pillar of fire
And in the midst of this desert, with serpents and scorpions
Sandstorms trying to destroy you, God will make you come out
Clothed, renewed, restored, approved
Full of anointing and full of power
For you have passed through the fire and have been approved
