Jó estava em casa
Tudo estava tranquilo
Chegou um mensageiro
Lhe trazendo a notícia terrível
Teu gado estava arando
Teu rebanho pastando
Inimigos chegaram e os teus animais eles foram levando!
Enquanto ele falava
Outro dizia assim
Caiu fogo do céu
Queimou tudo que tinha
Só restou a mim!
Chega mais um dizendo
Veio um vento à soprar
A casa desabou
Os teus filhos morreram
Escapei pra contar
Diante disso tudo Deus ainda permitiu
Que o inimigo tocasse em sua saúde e lhe feriu
E agora sua esposa lhe pergunta
Como pode? Manter tua integridade
Amaldiçoa esse teu Deus e morre!
Jó lhe respondeu
Tu falas como louca nenhuma maldição se ouvirá da minha boca!
Tudo que eu tinha Deus me deu e quis tomar
Nu saí do ventre da minha mãe
E é nu que voltarei pra lá!
Sei que o meu redentor vivo está
E no tempo certo ele se levantará
Toda essa glória e grandeza
Somente observei
Quando passei pela prova
E de ti me aproximei
O que de ti só ouvia
Agora posso contemplar
Hoje sei que vive em mim
Eu vejo sua glória em todo lugar!
No vale
No monte
No horizonte
No imenso mar
No vento que sopra
Na mulher estéril que pode gerar
Na estrela que brilha
No Sol que aparece trazendo calor
Na voz da criança que tem em sua boca o perfeito louvor
Firma a terra sobre o nada
Quem consegue entender?
Faz nuvens prender as águas
Sem rasgar nem se romper!
Bem sei eu que tudo podes
E nenhum dos planos seus
Poderão ser impedidos
Pois és soberano Deus
Me restituiu em dobro
O que o inimigo me tirou
Vivo pra dizer
Bendito seja o nome do senhor!
Sovereign God
Job was at home

Another one arrives saying

And now his wife asks him
How can you? Keep your integrity
Curse your God and die!
Job answered him
You speak like a madwoman, no curse will be heard from my mouth!
Everything I had God gave me and wanted to take
Naked I came from my mother's womb
And it is naked that I will return there!
I know that my living redeemer is
And in due time he will rise
All this glory and grandeur
I just observed
When I passed the test
And I got closer to you
What I only heard from you
Now I can contemplate
Today I know that he lives in me
I see your glory everywhere!

On the horizon
In the immense sea
In the wind that blows
In the sterile woman who can generate
In the shining star
In the Sun that appears bringing warmth
In the voice of the child who has in his mouth the perfect praise
