Sucedeu que divulgando-se o mandado do rei
E a sua lei acerca da escolha da mais nova rainha
Que assumiria o trono em lugar de Vasti
Muitas moças virgens e formosas
Foram escolhidas e levadas ao palácio real
Dentre essas estava Ester, jovem judia simples e pobre
Chegando a sua vez
Alcançou Ester graça diante de todos que a viam
Homens e mulheres, grandes e pequenos
Se admiravam da beleza de Ester
Assim foi levada Ester a presença do rei Assuero
À sua casa real
E quando o rei viu passar a bela e meiga Ester
De todas as virgens que viu a mais bela ela é
O rei amou a Ester e dela se agradou
E lhe pôs a coroa real, graça nela ele achou
E disse o rei: Faça-se um grande convite
A todos os príncipes e aos seus servos
Para a festa de Ester
E deu repouso as províncias
E deu presentes segundo o costume real
Porquanto escolhida foi a rainha
Levanta, exalta, transforma, eleva e opera
A simples e humilde ao trono Ele eleva
Só pra dar vitória a quem é fiel
Se é pobre, judia, não pode, teu Deus tem coroa
Quando se agrada Ele dá coisa boa
Deu trono e coroa a rainha Ester
É Deus quem tem coroa, coroa de ouro
Coroa de honra, coroa de glória, coroa de vitória
Que exalta e levanta a quem Ele quer
Humilha o soberbo, do fraco faz o forte
Pequeno faz um grande
Vasti perde a coroa porque foi arrogante
Poder, riqueza e reino pertencem a Deus
Deus é Deus e outro não, igual não há na terra e céu
É Deus, é rei, o reino é seu irmão
Se prometeu irá cumprir, Ele é fiel e hoje aqui
Do pó levanta o humilhado, Ele faz assim
The Chosen One
It happened that the king's decree was proclaimed

Power, wealth, and kingdom belong to God
God is God and there is no other, there is no equal on earth and in heaven
He is God, He is king, the kingdom is His brother
If He promised, He will fulfill, He is faithful and here today
He raises the humble from the dust, He does so
