Descamisat Sisquet fa tard,
diu adéu a la colla.
L'han vacunat contra l'asfalt
en un poblet de costa
On d'amagat l'espera
darrera de l'església
mig tremolós
aquell petó
que tindrà gust a sal de mar i a nit
plena d'estrelles.
Un pel suat Cesc s'ha llevat
de fer la migdiada,
mentre al costat la dona va
desant rasclets i pales
i mirant com la nena
rebossada d'arena
dorm al sofà
pensa que mai
tindrà millor moment per anar a buscar
la parelleta
Que arribi l'agost
feixuc i mandrós
que ens fa recordar
la bellesa del temps que passa a poc a poc.
Des del cafè el senyor Francesc
mira la gent com tomba
fent el tallat on fa tants anys
te un reservat a l'ombra
i quan la dona arriba
li acosta la cadira
del seu costat
i li estreny la ma
pensant que el mar és com la vida
que no atura el ritme mai.
Que arribi l'agost
vital i enganxós
per treure'ns les presses
i recuperar la tendresa del mon.
