Túmulo Vazio
É madrugada ainda escura
Havia silêncio no jardim
Maria trazia perfume e mirra
Para o corpo de Jesus ungir
Mas, o túmulo estava vazio
A pedra removida
Maria encontrou
Maria entrando nada ali havia
E em desespero
Maria chorou
Saindo depressa mui triste Maria
E com o varão Maria encontrou
Com a voz amarga olhando atônita
Onde o pusestes? Ela perguntou
Porque procura viventes entre os mortos
Diga aos outros que ele ressuscitou
Então Maria foi aos discípulos
E mui feliz, assim falou
Ressuscitou, ressuscitou
Cristo Jesus já ressuscitou
Ressuscitou, ressuscitou
Cristo Jesus já ressuscitou
Pedro, Tiago, João venha e veja
O tumulo está vazio
Ele não está no sepulcro
Jesus ressuscitou aleluia Jesus ressuscitou
Empty Tomb
It's still dark dawn
There was silence in the garden
Mary brought perfume and myrrh
To anoint Jesus' body
But the tomb was empty
The stone removed
Mary found
Mary entering, there was nothing there
And in despair
Mary cried
Quickly, very sad, Mary left
And with the man Mary found
With a bitter voice, looking astonished
Where have you put him? She asked
Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Tell the others that he has risen
Then Mary went to the disciples
And very happily, she said
He has risen, he has risen
Christ Jesus has risen
He has risen, he has risen
Christ Jesus has risen
Peter, James, John come and see
The tomb is empty
He is not in the sepulcher
Jesus has risen, hallelujah Jesus has risen
