Bem aventurado aquele que não anda
Segundo o conselho dos ímpios
Nem se detém no caminho dos pecadores
Nem se assenta com escarnecedores
Antes, tem, o seu prazer na lei do Senhor
E nela pensa de manhã até o Sol se pôr
É como árvore plantada com ribeiros por perto
Suas folhas não caem, e tudo o que fizer vai dar certo
Eu vou buscar conselho nos braços de Deus
Eu vou achar descanso nos caminhos Seus
Eu vou me assentar em Sua mesa e comer
Até me fartar de Sua glória
Prazer eu quero ter na lei que Deus me dá
Pensar nela de dia, até que o Sol se vá
Eu sou como uma árvore plantada junto a ribeiros de águas
E tudo o que eu fizer nessa vida, verei prosperar

In the advice of the wicked
Nor stands in the path of sinners
Nor sits with mockers
But delights in the law of the Lord
And thinks about it day and night
It's like a tree planted by streams of water
Its leaves don’t wither, and whatever they do will succeed
I’m gonna seek advice in the arms of God
I’m gonna find rest in His ways
I’m gonna sit at His table and eat
