Message From Earth
A Poem has traveled from very far
On the wings of a beautiful song
The verses composed by nature
The rhymes meant for you, you alone
It traveled so long across the blue
It came ten decades back in time
It reaches you now on a bright starry night
As the Moon starts to rise in the sky
It comes with green grass in the mountains
It comes with the rain on the trees
The rivers, the lakes and the ocean
A bright sunny day by the sea
Waves gently shaping the shoreline
The palms that sway on a breeze
A colorful rainbow and a tall waterfall
A sight that you may never see
It traveled between constellations
It saw northern lights in the blue
Summer, fall, winter and springtime
The flowers that bloom just for you
It galloped so fast through the prairie
Ablaze cutting fast through the wind
Hovered above foggy plains in the mist
Gliding aloft on a stream
It ran across pastures and meadows
It's flown between plains and ravines
Reaching you at this very moment
The loveliest sight ever seen
I still remember the instant
When you let all that disappear
I am now coming back to see you my dear
In the hopes that now you may hear
Please let me spin clean and pretty
Out in the blue open space
Please let my fish keep swimming
In those crystal-clear waterways
Please let the flowers and forests
Sprout from the land to the sea
Don't let the whales and the Dolphins
Die for your vane politics
Please let me see all the children
Smiling and running bare feet
Picking up fruits from a pear tree
Quenching their thirst on a creek
Let me be able to see the stars
Without any smoke in my eyes
Let them inspire my singing to you
To reach very deep in your heart
This is what I came here to ask you
In this journey I took back in time
I came from a place that is lifeless
But that is your choice
It's not mine!
Mensaje Desde la Tierra
Un poema ha viajado desde muy lejos
En las alas de una hermosa canción
Los versos compuestos por la naturaleza
Las rimas destinadas para ti, solo para ti
Viajó tan lejos a través del azul
Llegó diez décadas atrás en el tiempo
Te alcanza ahora en una brillante noche estrellada
Mientras la Luna comienza a elevarse en el cielo
Viene con hierba verde en las montañas
Viene con la lluvia en los árboles
Los ríos, los lagos y el océano
Un brillante día soleado junto al mar
Las olas moldeando suavemente la costa
Las palmeras que se mecen con la brisa
Un colorido arcoíris y una alta cascada
Una vista que quizás nunca veas
Viajó entre constelaciones
Vio las luces del norte en el azul
Verano, otoño, invierno y primavera
Las flores que florecen solo para ti
Galopó tan rápido por la pradera
Ardiendo cortando velozmente el viento
Se cernió sobre llanuras brumosas en la niebla
Planeando en lo alto sobre un arroyo
Corrió a través de pastizales y praderas
Voló entre llanuras y barrancos
Alcanzándote en este mismo momento
La vista más encantadora jamás vista
Todavía recuerdo el instante
Cuando dejaste que todo eso desapareciera
Ahora estoy regresando para verte, mi querida
Con la esperanza de que ahora puedas escuchar
Por favor, déjame girar limpio y bonito
En el espacio abierto azul
Por favor, deja que mis peces sigan nadando
En esos cristalinos cursos de agua
Por favor, deja que las flores y los bosques
Brote desde la tierra hasta el mar
No dejes que las ballenas y los delfines
Mueran por tu política vanidosa
Por favor, déjame ver a todos los niños
Sonriendo y corriendo descalzos
Recogiendo frutas de un peral
Saciar su sed en un arroyo
Permíteme poder ver las estrellas
Sin humo alguno en mis ojos
Que inspiren mi canto hacia ti
Para llegar muy profundo en tu corazón
Esto es lo que vine a pedirte
En este viaje que hice en el tiempo
Vengo de un lugar que está sin vida
Pero esa es tu elección
