Smoke is rising from the flame
Shadows dance, they have no name
Twilight pulses through the room
Violet whispers pierce the gloom
Through the veil a figure shivers
Friend or foe, I still can’t tell
If I gaze beyond the deep dusk
Will I hear the deep midnight bell
Candles flicker bright, violet veil thins
Lavender and smoke pull me back within
My heartbeat hammers so loud
Can you guide me through the cloud?

With creatures of the night

Flickering frames on cavern walls
Phantoms dance inside my head

Can I believe I'm not misled?
Rosemary leaves prick at my skin
Oh my dear guide, where have you been?

I let the violet overflow
No walls between the worlds remain
If all of this is just a glow
I’ll live inside the purple flame

Threading light around my heart
I dissolve inside the fire
Doubt and daylight fall apart
