Majestic shadows move, covering the sky
A sudden shiver in the golden weave of life
All colours fade, and all beauty melts away
As the lush and bloom burn to dusty grey...
Where did it go, the splendour that i used to know
Where do i stand, ash covering my promised land
To whom do i speak, as the voices proclaims my defeat
How can i rise, as i behold my shattered paradise

I feel so deadly cold, and my limbs feel so tired and old
Like frozen lava time is slow, yet year the slip and go
A dust-covered statue worn, i stand dark and forlorn
Like a monument erected for the hope-neglected
They came so close,
I should have known,
I should have seen

Creeping forth they came,
From the corners appeared,
Shattering my dreams

I welcomed those dreadful shadows, i opened my door
To let them in....
In my shadow world
Far from the sun
Where the springtime will never come
All is frozen here, (to winter) succumbed
In shadows i reside, in the ruins of my former life
Where laughter died, and was traded for the bitter lies
My minds own treason, i have yet to fully understand
Filled with dark regret, i know i will never ever accept
As i sink beneath the waves, sinking like a stone
I cannot breathe, and life is slipping away,
There i find myself... my peace...

Un escalofrío repentino en la tejedura dorada de la vida
Todos los colores se desvanecen, y toda belleza se desvanece
Mientras lo exuberante y floreciente se queman en gris polvoriento...
¿A dónde fue, el esplendor que solía conocer?
¿Dónde estoy parado, ceniza cubriendo mi tierra prometida?
¿Con quién hablo, mientras las voces proclaman mi derrota?
¿Cómo puedo levantarme, mientras contemplo mi paraíso destrozado?

Me siento tan mortalmente frío, y mis miembros se sienten tan cansados y viejos
Como lava congelada el tiempo es lento, pero los años pasan y se van
Una estatua cubierta de polvo desgastada, me paro oscuro y desolado
Como un monumento erigido para la esperanza descuidada
Vinieron tan cerca,
Debería haber sabido,
Debería haber visto

Avanzando sigilosamente vinieron,
Desde las esquinas aparecieron,
Destrozando mis sueños

Dí la bienvenida a esas temibles sombras, abrí mi puerta
Para dejarlas entrar....
En mi mundo de sombras
Lejos del sol
Donde la primavera nunca llegará
Todo está congelado aquí, (al invierno) sometido
En las sombras resido, en las ruinas de mi vida pasada
Donde la risa murió, y fue cambiada por las amargas mentiras
La traición de mi mente, aún tengo que entender completamente
Lleno de oscuro arrepentimiento, sé que nunca aceptaré
Mientras me hundo bajo las olas, hundiéndome como una piedra
No puedo respirar, y la vida se escapa,
Allí me encuentro... mi paz...
