Não entendo o por quê de tanta denominação...
Tantos nomes só fazem aumentar nossa divisão.
Muitos títulos, muitas leis, tantas regras banais,
Dificultando a vida ainda mais...
Existe algum valor em tanta discussão?
Por que se afogar nesse mar de confusão?
O que é mais importante? Quem sai ganhando afinal?
Eu não posso esquecer o essencial!
Amar ao meu irmão, assim como Jesus me amou!
Amar ao meu irmão como Jesus me ensinou!
Amar ao meu irmão, assim como Jesus me amou!
Amar ao meu irmão...
Será que sabemos qual é a nossa missão?
Uma única família, uma única visão!
Talvez um dia a gente entenda
O que é, na verdade, ser cristão...
Praticar nesse mundo nossa pregação.
Como posso pensar em dizer que amo a Deus
Se não consigo viver em amor com meu irmão?
A quem estamos enganando? Não adianta disfarçar!
O que a gente faz fala muito mais do que só falar!
Amar ao meu irmão, assim como Jesus me amou!
Amar ao meu irmão como Jesus me ensinou!
Amar ao meu irmão, assim como Jesus me amou!

Nossa história aqui:
O novo mandamento que devemos seguir!
"A ninguém devais coisa alguma
A não ser o amor,
Porque quem ama cumpriu a lei.
Não adulterarás, não matarás,
Não furtarás,não darás falso testemunho,
Não cobiçarás! E se há algum outro mandamento
Tudo neste se resume:
Amarás ao teu próximo como a ti mesmo!"

I don't understand why there is so much name...
So many names only increase our division.
Many titles, many laws, so many banal rules,
Making life even more difficult...
Is there any value in so much discussion?
Why drown in this sea of confusion?
What is more important? Who wins after all?
I can't forget the essentials!
Love my brother, just as Jesus loved me!
Love my brother as Jesus taught me!
Love my brother, just as Jesus loved me!
Loving my brother...
Do we know what our mission is?
A single family, a single vision!
Maybe one day we'll understand
What it actually means to be a Christian...
Practice our preaching in this world.
How can I think of saying I love God
If I can't live in love with my brother?
Who are we kidding? There's no point in disguising it!
What we do says much more than just talking!
Love my brother, just as Jesus loved me!
Love my brother as Jesus taught me!

"Owe no one anything
Except for love,
Because whoever loves has fulfilled the law.
Thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill,
You shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet! And if there is any other commandment
It all boils down to this:
You will love your neighbor as yourself!"
