Jangling like unamplified electric guitars
Songs of heartbreak and empty hands
When you heard them you could feel the scars
Two lead singers - a guy and a girl
When they sang together I forgot about this world

One hit single and they could've been
Not a struggling pop band but an institution
All their tours lost too much cash
But you could never sense it - they kicked so much ass
One by one they all lost their shirts
I miss that band so much it fucking hurts
