the train's headlights sway, swaying gently, flickering
I feel like I’m missing the answer I want

what’s the deal, the tracks keep going, let’s hurry up
I wish someone would carry me far away from this mundane life

just like I imagined, the future is gently unfolding
before I know it, I’m already thirty years old
in this reality, I don’t even have the courage to get off the train
staring blankly out the window, the train keeps moving

yesterday’s mist, the one that clouds my head, that smirk
it feels like I’m the only one left behind

the imperial palace is just a bit too far, slipping through
the door in front of me feels like it’s about to burst open with a deep breath

there might be a wonderful situation waiting outside the norm
hiding my anxiety behind faint expectations
I just want to move forward, even if it’s just one stop at a time
even if the scenery stops, my heart keeps racing, the door is wide open

it’s beyond imagination, the sparkling days pass by in a flash
before I know it, I’m at the next stop
I don’t even know how to deal with this half-heartedness
I have to keep fighting until the last train comes, another day begins
