אֲוִיר הֵרִים צָלוּל כְּיַיִן
ʾavīr hērīm tsālul kĕyayin
וְרֵיחַ אֳרָנִים
vĕrēaḥ ʾoranīm
נִשָּׂא בְּרוּחַ הָעַרְבַּיִם
niśśāʾ bĕrūaḥ hāʿarvayim
עִם קוֹל פַּעֲמוֹנִים

וּבְתַרְדֶּמֶת אִילָן וְאֶבֶן

שְׁבוּיָה בַּחֲלוֹמָהּ

הֵעִיר אֲשֶׁר בָּדָד יוֹשֶׁבֶת

וּבְלִבָּהּ חוֹמָה

נָשׁוּב נֵרֵד אֶל יָם הַמֶּלַח

בַּדֶּרֶךְ יְרִיחוֹ
