different it be
for the first time of an age
man has the technology to destroy
the earth and the egotism to
posses the power without fear
Mans capacity for destruction
global disregard for this earth
a living being which sustains us
pollution a gripping reality
one which is killing us both
physically and spiritually
but so slowly it goes unnoticed
out of sight
out of mind
seemingly clear air fills our lungs
water from industrial waste that appears clear
imbalance caused by careless
slaughter of rain forests and their inhabitants
mankind is capable of killing the planet
and is selfishly, blindly doing so.

diferente será
por primera vez en una era
el hombre tiene la tecnología para destruir
la tierra y el egoísmo de
poseer el poder sin miedo
La capacidad del hombre para la destrucción
el desprecio global por esta tierra
un ser vivo que nos sustenta
la contaminación, una realidad asfixiante
que nos está matando a ambos
física y espiritualmente
pero tan lentamente que pasa desapercibido
fuera de vista
fuera de la mente
aparentemente el aire limpio llena nuestros pulmones
agua de desechos industriales que parece clara
desequilibrio causado por el descuido
matanza de bosques tropicales y sus habitantes
la humanidad es capaz de matar al planeta
y lo está haciendo egoístamente, ciegamente.
