Jesus Is The Lighthouse
There's a lighthouse on the hillside
That overlooks life's sea
When I'm tossed it sends out
A light that I mighty see
And the light that shines in darkness
Now will safely lead me hole
If it wasn't for the lighthouse
My ship would be no more

It seems that everybody about us say: "Tear that old lighthouse down. The big ships they just don't pass this way anymore. So there's no use in it standing around."
But then my mind goes back to that one darn storm night, when just in time, I saw the light.
Yes, it was the light from that old lighthouse that stands there up there on the hill.
And I thank God for the lighthouse
I owe my life to Him
Jesus is the lighthouse
And from the rocks of sin
He has shown the light around me
That I mighty clearly see
If it wasn't for the lighthouse
Tell me: where would this ship be?

Jésus Est Le Phare
Il y a un phare sur la colline
Qui surplombe la mer de la vie
Quand je suis ballotté, il envoie
Une lumière que je peux voir
Et la lumière qui brille dans l'obscurité
Me guidera en toute sécurité
Si ce n'était pas pour le phare
Mon navire ne serait plus là

On dirait que tout le monde autour de nous dit : "Démolissez ce vieux phare. Les grands navires ne passent plus par ici. Donc, ça ne sert à rien de le laisser là."
Mais ensuite, mon esprit revient à cette nuit de tempête, quand juste à temps, j'ai vu la lumière.
Oui, c'était la lumière de ce vieux phare qui se dresse là-haut sur la colline.
Et je remercie Dieu pour le phare
Je lui dois ma vie
Jésus est le phare
Et des rochers du péché
Il a montré la lumière autour de moi
Que je peux voir clairement
Si ce n'était pas pour le phare
Dis-moi : où serait ce navire ?
