O amor de Jesus é tão puro e leal
Que aclara o meu viver.
O amor de Jesus me liberta do mal
E envolve meu pobre ser.
Tão meigo e tão bom é Jesus!
El' guia-me com Sua mão.
O amor de Jesus é qual fonte de luz:
Tirou-me da escuridão.
O amor de Jesus é mais vasto que o mar;
Sustém-me na provação
O amor de Jesus, qual fragrância da flor,
Inunda meu coração.
Sua paz dá-me calma e prazer,
Eu sei que há um Céu para mim.
A Cristo Jesus minha vida darei,
Por Seu grande amor, sem fim.

E deu-me de novo a paz.
Agora, feliz, quero sempre seguir
A senda que satisfaz.
Servindo a Jesus, meu Senhor,

The love of Jesus is so pure and loyal

He guides me with His hand.

He took me out of the darkness.

He sustains me in trial.

His peace gives me calm and pleasure,
I know there is a Heaven for me.
To Christ Jesus I will give my life,
For His great love, endlessly.

And gave me peace again.

The path that satisfies.

With zeal and devotion,
I desire to speak and sing of this love
That brings light to the heart.
