Dia a dia, em todos os momentos
Força encontro em lutas ou labor
Pois de Deus recebo sempre alento
Que razão terei eu pra temor?
Deus, que é bom, e sábio e compassivo
Cada dia dá-me o que é melhor
Uma dor, e logo um lenitivo
Luta e paz eu sinto em derredor
Cada dia Deus está bem perto
E conselhos dEle posso obter
Segurança e auxílio em tempo certo
Me concede pelo Seu poder
Com carinho Deus protege e guia
Qual zeloso pai, os filhos Seus
"Dar-te-ei poder a cada dia"
É a certeza que Ele ofereceu
Quero, ó Deus, em cada sofrimento
Confiar em Teu cuidado e amor
E com fé, eu permaneça atento
Às promessas Tuas, meu Senhor
E que eu possa, em lutas, dores, trevas
Aceitar, ó Deus, de Tua mão
Um a um, os dias que me entregas
Nesta minha peregrinação

Day by day, in every moment
Strength I find in struggles or work
For from God I always receive encouragement
What reason do I have to fear?
God, who is good, wise, and compassionate
Each day gives me what is best
A pain, and then a relief
I feel both struggle and peace around me
Every day God is very close
And I can receive His advice
Security and help at the right time
He grants me through His power
With care God protects and guides
Like a zealous father, His children
'I will give you power every day'
Is the certainty He offered
I want, O God, in every suffering
To trust in Your care and love
And with faith, may I remain attentive
To Your promises, my Lord
And may I, in struggles, pains, darkness
Accept, O God, from Your hand
One by one, the days You give me
In this my pilgrimage
