J'ai connu pour un temps assez court
quelque chose qui ressemble à de l'amour
une voix douce comme le miel
qui me suit jusque dans mon sommeil
une promesse et un battement de cil
et on se croirait presque indivisible
c'est peut-être parce que c'est éphémère
qu'on s'arrache ces morceaux de rêve
j'y pense comme je respire
peut-être même encore pire
même mille fois maudite

et surtout qu'il est bon de sentir
qu'on est fait pour ce monde intangible
pour un peu on se dirait presque

that follows me even into my sleep
a promise and a blink of an eye
and one would almost believe we're inseparable
maybe it's because it's ephemeral
that we cling to these dream fragments

maybe even worse
even a thousand times cursed

to know we are made for this intangible world
almost makes you think
