The beautiful bright sunshine,
That smiles on all below,
The waving trees, the cool, soft breeze,
The rippling streams that flow,
The shadows on the hillsides,
The many tinted flowers,
O God! how fair Thy loving care
Has made this earth of ours!
The beautiful affections
That gather round our way,
The joys that rise from household ties,
And deepen day by day;
The tender love that guards us
Whenever danger lowers,
O God! how fair Thy loving care
Has made this earth of ours!
But brighter is the shining,
And tender is the love,
And purer still the joys which fill
The unseen home above-
The home where all His children
Shall sing with fuller power,
"O God! how fair Thy loving care

El hermoso y brillante sol,
Que sonríe a todos abajo,
Los árboles ondeantes, la suave brisa fresca,
Los arroyos ondulantes que fluyen,
Las sombras en las laderas,
Las flores de muchos colores,
¡Oh Dios! ¡Qué justa es Tu amorosa atención
Que ha hecho esta tierra nuestra!
Las hermosas afectos
Que se reúnen en nuestro camino,
Las alegrías que surgen de los lazos familiares,
Y se profundizan día a día;
El tierno amor que nos protege
Siempre que el peligro acecha,
¡Oh Dios! ¡Qué justa es Tu amorosa atención
Que ha hecho esta tierra nuestra!
Pero más brillante es el resplandor,
Y más tierno es el amor,
Y aún más puros son los gozos que llenan
El hogar invisible arriba-
El hogar donde todos Sus hijos
Cantarán con mayor poder,
'¡Oh Dios! ¡Qué justa es Tu amorosa atención
Que ha hecho esta tierra nuestra!
