我は官軍我（わが）敵は
waga wa kanguu waga teki wa
天地容れざる朝敵ぞ
tenchi irezaru asatoki zo
敵の大將たる者は
taki no taishou taru mono wa
古今無雙（双）の英雄で
kokon musou no eiyuu de
之に從ふ兵（つわもの）は
kono ni shitau tsuwamono wa
共に慓悍（ひょうかん）決死の士
tomo ni hyoukan kesshi no shi
鬼神（きしん）に恥（はじ）ぬ勇あるも
kishin ni haji nu yuu aru mo
天の許さぬ叛逆を
ten no yurusanu hangyaku wo
起しゝ者は昔より
okishih mono wa mukashi yori
榮えし例（ためし）あらざるぞ
sakaeshi tame shi arazaru zo
敵の亡ぶる夫迄（それまで）は
taki no naburu sore made wa
進めや進め諸共に
susume ya susume morotomo ni
玉ちる劔（つるぎ）拔き連れて
tama chiru tsurugi naki tsurete
死ぬる覺悟で進むべし
shinu ru kakugo de susumu beshi
皇國（みくに）の風（ふう）と武士（もののふ）の
mikuni no fuu to mononofu no
其身（そのみ）を護る靈（たましい）の
sono mi wo mamoru tamashii no
維新このかた廢（すた）れたる
ishin kono kata sutaretaru
日本刀（やまとがたな）の今更に
yamato gatana no ima sarani
又（また）世に出づる身の譽（ほまれ
mata yo ni izuru mi no homare
敵も身方も諸共に
teki mo mikata mo morotomo ni
刄（やいば）の下に死ぬべきぞ
yaiba no shita ni shinu beki zo
大和魂ある者の
daiwa tamashii aru mono no
死ぬべき時は今なるぞ
shinu beki toki wa ima naru zo
人に後（おく）れて恥かくな
hito ni okurete hajikaku na
敵の亡ぶる夫迄（それまで）は
