I could stay up all night
Praying that you'd be mine
I could write a thousand love songs
And sing them to you my whole life long
I could write you poetry and make it all rhyme
But that may never change your mind.
It's the nature of a romance-
A lopsided love affair-
The tragedy of circumstance,
So should I hold onto you?
I could risk it all to win your hand
And show you that I'm an adventurous man
Pursue you like a damsel in distress
But how do we know that this is worth it?
If I could see the future- to see if my life were true-
Are you the one to die for?
